what we offer

Kopano: over 20 years' experience in groupware

We have evolved from Zarafa Groupware to Kopano Groupware, and now to the new Kopano Cloud product. Our new software stack based on the latest technologies has been designed since 2019. While the old Kopano Groupware product reached the end of its life in 2024, the new Kopano Cloud product was introduced, offering enhanced functionality and scalability. Version 8 of Kopano Cloud was deployed in August 2025.

Just like WorkMail, our platform was designed with the Microsoft Outlook experience in mind rather than as an add-on to an existing product.

Can I keep my mail delivery and scanning with SES?

+
Yes, if you have had positive experiences with the spam filtering in WorkMail, you can keep your MX records with Amazon SES and create a Lambda function to forward emails to our services from there. Please note that this will result in additional costs being incurred in your AWS account.

How can I import my users from WorkMail?

+
We are currently finalising an import service that you can authorise in your AWS console. This will then import users (without passwords) from your current setup.

How can I import my mailboxes from WorkMail?

+
We are currently finalising an import service that you can authorise in your AWS console. This will then import the mailbox data of all your users. If you would like to conduct preliminary tests, the simplest approach is to use Outlook as a client and import and export individual mailboxes via it.
